Did you know even if you can’t be involved in DNOW by volunteering, hosting students or even by sending a student, you can still play an integral part in the spiritual success of this weekend? You can PRAY. Don’t underestimate your value as a prayer partner in this event.

DNOW Info & Registration
Speaker
- Pray for protection as he travels, good health, strength and endurance for the weekend, and for protection of family and loved ones while away. (John 10:10, 17:15)
- Pray that he would take time each day to get before the Lord and seek Him. (Matthew 6:33, 1 Chron 16:11, Ps 27:8)
- Pray that he bring forth the Word of God with sincerity and with Christ’s authority, knowing that God is watching him. (2 Cor 2:17)
- Pray that as he humbles himself, prays and seeks the Lord’s face, that he would be in tune with the Lord. May he be sensitive to His leading, empowered by His Holy Spirit, enabled to follow Him in obedience to bring forth messages with boldness, power and passion in such a way that the Lord will be glorified and lives will be saved, renewed and transformed. (2 Chron 7:14, Micah 6:8, Acts 4:29-31, Eph 6:19-20, 2 Cor 3:16-18)
Band

- Pray for their voices to remain strong; that there will be no equipment malfunctions; that they reflect God’s passion and energy; that their music will bring refreshment to the soul. (Ps 23)
- Pray that they have hearts focused on the Lord, leading all to worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:20-24)
- As they lead in worship, pray that they lead us to worship the Lord for who He is and to give thanks to Him and praise His Holy Name. Pray that all come to understand that we are created to worship Him. (Ps 63:1-5)
- No enemy can stand when His praise goes forth! As the band leads in worship, pray that all hindrances and distractions be removed so that hearts will be prepared to hear from the Lord and receive His message. (1 Sam 16:23, 2 Sam 22:1-4)
Leaders
- Pray for protection as they travel, good health, strength and endurance for the weekend, and for protection of family and loved ones while away. (Heb 12:1, John 10:10, 17:15)
- Pray for their hearts and minds to be fully yielded to the Lord so they speak forth His words with boldness and in His love. (Acts 4:29-32)
- Pray they would have ears open to listen to the students, that they will not shrink back from topics that are unpopular or difficult to talk about, that they would have discernment and wisdom from the Lord to respond appropriately according to scripture. (Eph 1:17-19, James 1:5, Prov 2:1-6, Acts 20:20)
- Pray they would truly invest in the lives of the students and that they would be a living example of Jesus to them in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. (1 Tim 4:12, 1 Cor 11:1)
- Pray for unity and harmony between the leaders and the students. (Eph 4:1-6)
Host Homes
- Thank the Lord for their willingness to open their homes this weekend.
- Pray that through their living testimony God will use these families to spread the knowledge of Christ like a fragrant aroma. (2 Cor 2:14,15)
- Pray that God’s light and His love will permeate these families and their homes so that the students experience the love of the Lord and the fruit of His Spirit in such a profound way that it leaves a lasting impression; that it is sealed on their minds and in their hearts.
(Gal 5:22-23, Eph 4:30) - Pray that while the students are in these homes, they will show respect toward the families and be responsible; that the students will receive rest, relaxation, nourishment, times of fun and laughter, peace and acceptance, and growth in God’s Word. (Acts 2:46-47, Acts 12:12, Titus 3:1)
Co-Hosts
- Thank the Lord for their servant spirits in their willingness to provide food and/or transportation for the Host homes this weekend. (Matt 25:35,36)
- Pray for their protection as they drive students back and forth to church and homes. (Ps 91, Ps 121)
- Pray that they are a fragrant aroma of the love of Christ in their lives. (2 Cor 2:15)
- Pray that they realize how important they are to the host family and to the students.
Recreation
- Pray for protection of students, leaders and all those involved in Rec.
- Pray that everything be done as unto the Lord- to honor Him. (Col 3:23-24, 1 Cor 10:31)
- Pray that they be kind and compassionate to one another putting aside all anger and slander. (Eph 4:31-32)
- Pray that this be a time of unity within the groups and grades. (Eph 4:1-3)
Food Team
- Thank the Lord for their servant hearts and their willingness to give of their time and talents. (1 Peter 4:7-11)
- Pray for strength and protection of those who will be preparing the food each night.
- Pray that all team members will work in harmony when preparing the food and during setup and clean up. (Eph 4:1-6)
- Pray that they radiate the joy of the Lord as they serve the students.
Registration Team
- Pray that all the behind-the-scene logistics concerning registration run smoothly.
- Pray that the students will invite many of their friends to DNOW, but that they have understanding hearts if they can’t all be together in the same house. May they put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. (Col 3:14)
- Pray that all team members work in harmony with one another; that they exemplify God’s love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in the midst of all the parents, students, hosts, and co-hosts checking in. (Eph 5:1-2)
- Pray that all students get to their assigned rooms and groups, and no one gets left behind when departing to the homes.
Students
- Pray for the students to have good health, strength and endurance for the weekend. (Heb 12:1)
- Pray for salvation of all students; that they may become a new creation in Christ. (John 1:12, John 3:16-17, Acts 13:38-39, 2 Cor 5:17)
- Pray for the students to hunger and thirst after God; to develop hearts for God, His Word and His ways; that they learn what it means to abide in Him. (Ps 42:1-2, John 15:7-8, James 4:7-8, Mark 12:29-31)
- Pray they have hearts of repentance and forgiveness. (Ps 51, 1 John 1:9)
- Pray that they will come alongside one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, and love one another. (Rom 12:15, 1 Thess 5:11)
- Pray that they be a part of a generation who seek the face of God and depend totally upon Him. (Ps 24:4-6, Ps 25:4-5)
- Pray that they be willing to live set apart lives, willing to follow Christ no matter what the cost; that they no longer conform to the pattern of this world, but that they are transformed by the renewing of their minds. Pray that they will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Mark 8:34, Luke 14:33, Matt 10:38, Rom 12:1-2)
- Pray they do everything without complaining or arguing, so that they may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which they shine like stars in the universe as they hold out the Word of life. (Dan 12:3, Phil 2:14-18)
- Pray that they exchange their desire to be noticed and appreciated for the desire that He and He alone would shine gloriously through their beings, that their hearts’ cry become, “I must decrease, so that He might increase.” (John 3:30)
