Attention, Parents & Students!
We know you want more details about the Kenya International Mission Trip. We’re pretty sure you’re bursting at the seams with questions, right? How much is it going to cost? How will they get there? Will they have a shower? What do they need to bring? The list goes on and on!
The good news is that we want to give you answers. We want you know how to prepare, what you will be doing, where you will be going and more.
Please plan to join us in the Radiate Auditorium on February 11th at 6:30 PM. We’ll have the student Passport Books ready to pass out that night for the students to document and keep track of all the requirements, essays, reading and memorization.
If your student didn’t get a copy of the mission trip application, you can stop by the literature rack outside of the Radiate Auditorium, or you can download a copy here:

In the mean time, did you know the primary language spoken in Kenya is Swahili? And did you also know that you might already know a little bit of Swahili? If you’ve watched The Lion King, it’s true. Simba=Lion, Nala=gift, Rafiki=friend, Hakuna Matata=No worries/troubles. By the way, now is a great time to start coming to Radiate Choir (participation in Radiate Choir is a trip requirement). They’ve already started working on a Swahili song O Sifuni Mungu (it means “O Praise the Lord”).
