We’re launching a new Photo Challenge tomorrow morning! So how do you join the challenge?
Hit up Google or that set of Encyclopedias that your mom and dad have on the bookshelf in the basement and pick a famous work of art that you’d like to recreate.
Contest Dates:
Start: May 4th
End: May 8th at 4 PM
Rules:
- Choose your favorite artwork
- Find objects lying around your house
- Recreate the artwork using those items and the people (and pets?) in your home
- Be Creative
- Email photo to radiate@burnthickory.com by May 8th at 4 PM
How do you win?
Our Radiate Staff will select 4 winners! One guy and one girl from Middle School and one guy and one girl from High School. Prize will be a Radiate T-shirt.
Need some ideas?
- Someone recreated the Mondrian with Legos
- The Girl with a Pearl Earring was posed by a dog
- Modern Rome was recreated using bottles and various knick knacks from around the house
- The Great Wave Off Kanagawa was recreated with fabric, bananas and cotton balls
